Actress Song Hye-kyo was a guest on tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” on January 8. The actress has been acting for 28 years but this is her first appearance on a variety show in 23 years.
In the program, the actress calmly shared various stories. Making her debut at age 10 in a school uniform competition, Song Hye-kyo began to rise to fame with her successful image transformation in “Autumn In My Heart” at age 20. In her twenties the actress starred in many projects with high ratings such as “All In”, “Hotelier”, “Full House”, etc.
Song Hye-kyo shared, “I wasn’t afraid that my project would fail. I also played a lot. Back then I loved spending time with my friends and it bothered me to have to go to work. I always wondered what I should do after work.” He added, “It’s something I didn’t have to worry about, but since I played a funny character this time, I missed out on more serious characters. I wish I had done it all sooner. With regret I thought about why I hadn’t chosen more diverse roles.”
Known for her connections with many celebrities and as a person much loved by the people around her, Song Hye-kyo confessed: “People around me always say I’m funny. I’ve never tried to be funny. I respond seriously in all situations but people think I’m funny.”
