tvN’s entertainment program “You Quiz on the Block” broadcast on January 8 featured actress Song Hye-kyo, who decided to appear on a talk show for the first time in 23 years.
Regarding her looks, the actress shared, “It’s been a while since I last appeared on a variety show. I am truly honored to be able to meet everyone in the new year.”
Song Hye-kyo confessed: “I’m very nervous right now. I wouldn’t have worried so much if I had appeared on variety shows multiple times. It’s been so long since I’ve done something like this, so I’m worried whether my appearance would be interesting enough.”adding “I’m also worried about whether my speech would be funny. I want my appearance to be interesting.”
He added, “I watched a lot of previous episodes. When I do things in the morning and turn on the TV I always see ‘You Quiz’.”
Jo Se-ho said, “I am close to Shin Hyun-ji and she asked me to take care of you and promised that this episode would be very interesting”. Hearing this, Song Hye-kyo honestly confessed: “I guess I’m not a person who’s eager to be funny.”
The actress said: “People around me often say things like, ‘Other people should know how funny this person is.’ To be honest, I never thought I was a funny person. I respond to all situations seriously and appropriately, but my friends think I’m funny.”
