On December 16, fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar released Song Hye-kyo’s latest cover, capturing her fresh, androgynous charm paired with a calm yet powerful presence. The concept, titled “Flower from Concrete,” portrays beauty blooming against the backdrop of a modern white villa, emphasizing resilience and inner strength.
Across three different covers, Song Hye-kyo showcases impeccable proportions and her signature ageless beauty. She effortlessly pulls off delicate pink and blue looks, plus a floral embroidered zip-up hoodie, which embodies the theme like a flower blooming in concrete. As a Fendi ambassador for five consecutive years, she has once again collaborated with the brand’s upcoming Spring/Summer 2026 collection.
In the post-filming interview, Song Hye-kyo talked about her upcoming drama Showmarking a reunion with the famous writer Noh Hee-kyung. She spoke openly about her role as Min-ja, a woman driven more by success than love.
“Min-ja is someone who values success above all else and will stop at nothing to achieve it. She lives with the mentality that the world is beneath her,” Song Hye-kyo explains.
“Watching her climb from the bottom is intense and heartbreaking. Sometimes, just thinking about her at home makes me cry.”
As for her short haircut, Song Hye-kyo revealed that it was a suggestion from writer Noh Hee-kyung.

“I believe a character begins to take shape the moment you start thinking about his style”, he said. “The writer told me that she imagined Min-ja with short hair and kindly suggested a short cut. She also feared that it might be a big step for an actress, but to me, if it was good for Min-ja, there was nothing to fear.”
Song Hye-kyo also reflected on personal growth, sharing that she and Noh Hee-kyung have been writing a gratitude journal for the past five years, a habit that has helped her learn to truly love herself.
“When I work, I think about my role all day. But when I’m not working, I try to empty my thoughts.” he said. “Instead, I focus on simple plans to walk my dog, clean the house, finish my homework one by one.”

He added: “Of course, there are days when I feel down. But now I know how to get back up. Writing a gratitude journal doesn’t mean life is always happy, but it has taught me to love myself on every kind of day.”
At 32 years old, Song Hye-kyo continues to reinvent herself both visually and emotionally. With Showmarks yet another bold chapter in his acting journey.
Sometimes, transformation isn’t about doing more, but about taking things away to reveal who you are now.
