Seohyun’s pitiful limping with a cane was captured on video, which immediately caused concern among fans.
On December 31st, the KBS Drama Awards 2024which was supposed to air live on the same day, was canceled and replaced with a recording.
The cancellation came in observance of the week of national mourning with the grieving families of the victims of the Jeju Air plane crash, which claimed the lives of 179 precious people.

During the pre-registration held at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, Seohyun hosted the ceremony, along with Jang Sung Kyu and Moon Sangmin. In the leaked clips, the idol-actress wore a beautiful long white dress.
However, fans were surprised and quickly became concerned after Seohyun was caught limping with a cane, as seen in a video shared online.
Despite this, the celebrity showcased his keen MCing skills acquired in the industry for two decades and even saluted SONE (SNSD’s fandom), as per the spectators of the award ceremony.
On January 1, it was finally revealed that Seohyun injured herself while filming an upcoming drama before attending the ceremony, according to outlet OSEN.
“It’s true that she was injured during the filming of the drama. She is currently receiving treatment and recovering, and will soon return to film the drama and join us,” said Namoo Actors, the idol’s new label after leaving SM Entertainment.
Meanwhile, Seohyun got injured while filming the new KBS2 drama, Taking the male protagonist’s first nightwith 2PM’s Ok Taecyeon.
