SM Entertainmenthas announced plans to celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2025 with a special SMTOWN live The concert in Seoul has already excited fans, but the news of some invited guests has somehow increased the excitement even more.
Second Hooked Sportthe historic company invited the founder and former CEO Lee Soo Man and “all the former artists they could contact” to participate in the celebrations. The news comes as an early Christmas present for fans nostalgic for SM’s past greatness.

The gesture reflects the company’s recognition of its roots and the people who have contributed to its success over the years.
The upcoming anniversary marks three decades since the founding of SM Entertainment. To honor the milestone, the annual SMTOWN the concert was planned as an extravagant event. The Seoul show will take place at Gocheok Sky Dome on January 11 and 12, 2025.
Meanwhile, as many SM fans know, Lee Soo Man stepped away from the company early last year following a dispute over management rights. It is unclear whether he will accept the invitation as he is currently focusing on launching a new idol group aimed at the Chinese market under his newly established company, A20 Entertainment.
