According to reports, LamAn executive from the company responsible for the LED screens for the concert was on site. When asked if there was any communication between stakeholders regarding the weight of the LED screen, to ensure that the cables did not come missing, he replied: “It seems there was,” using words that imply uncertainty.

Furthermore, when the defense questioned him, he pointed out that on July 27, the day before the incident, someone had already noticed that one of the LED screens was tilted and told Lam to return to the scene to check the problem.

Lam confirmed the defense’s claims and revealed that the problem lay in the height of the cables and was therefore not related to the LED screen. Therefore, he contacted another company that was also working on the project. Someone from that company climbed up to inspect the top of the LED screen.

The defense then asked: “Did anyone say that if the LED screen is unsafe, then it should be removed?” Lam replied: “No.” This LED screen was the one that ultimately fell apart.

What the hell…from the weight declaration to the assembly of everything, to the materials and inspections, everything had a problem. And was the screen already tilted the day before? This world is absurd…
