On December 19, BPM Entertainment released a statement on Taemin’s official X account seemingly linked to the rumors spreading online. The statement announced the collection of harmful content and shared plans to take legal action.

This is Big Planet Made.We take all harmful actions against our affiliate artist, Taemin very seriously. These include defamation, spreading false information, insulting, invasion of privacy and other acts that damage the artist’s reputation.
Through internal monitoring and fan-submitted reports, we have carefully reviewed the materials and evidence and confirmed the malicious and defamatory nature of some posts. Based on this, we plan to send the collected data to law enforcement agencies and initiate legal action.
The artist has been the subject of clear cases of defamation, insults and the spread of false information. Therefore, we will file legal complaints and take all possible legal measures without leniency to ensure that violators are held accountable. We will take strict actions to prevent the recurrence of such malicious activities.
