In an official response to KG’s lawsuit, JYPE refuted the idol’s allegations of abuse and criticized her for harming the future of the remaining VCHA members.
On December 9, JYP USA released its response to KG’s withdrawal from the VCHA as it alleged abuse and mistreatment by the label. In a document sent by his lawyer, he detailed the physical and mental disorders of the staff.
However, the American headquarters of JYP, which manages the girl group and artist, said KG was not telling the truth, adding that his testimonies were exaggerated.

“In May this year, KG left the group’s residence and initiated discussions through its legal representatives.”
Since then, the label has temporarily suspended VCHA’s scheduled activities to discuss the resolution with KG’s side. However, JYP said he has not heard from them since and is still waiting for their response.
Despite the lack of communication, JYP denied KG’s claims and expressed regret that what he did is significantly affecting VCHA. The label wrote:
“We deeply regret KG’s decision to file a lawsuit and make one-sided public statements containing false and exaggerated claims. This action has caused significant harm to the other members of VCHA and JYP USA who have been working diligently on their upcoming album and projects for the beginning of 2025. .”
Finally, JYP stressed that it will fight against KG to prevent further damage inflicted on both the company and its members.
“JYP USA will take all necessary steps to ensure that neither other members of the VCHA nor JYP USA suffer further harm as a result of this matter. Thank you.”
