The recent leak of HYBE internal documents has sparked new controversy. The documents reveal unflattering comments not only towards rival companies, but also towards their artists, some of whom were even named. This has been the case for several female stars of JYP Entertainment.
Among the statements were inflammatory comments about the personal image and actions of ITZY‘S Yunaas well as NMIXX‘S Haewon AND Kyujinleaving fans outraged.
In one part of the report, HYBE reportedly addressed ITZY’s Yuna, referencing her focus on appearance and suggesting that she might lean into a “sex appeal” style. Comparing her to former JYP idols Sunmi and Hyuna, the report states that she may face similar pressures in an environment where protecting mental boundaries can be difficult.
Like other former JYP female idols such as Sunmi and Hyuna, she appears to show similar signs of long-term exposure to an environment where maintaining mental defenses is difficult, resulting in considerable emphasis on looks and sex appeal.

Meanwhile, HYBE’s notes on NMIXX members Haewon and Kyujin also attracted significant attention. The document reportedly mentioned that Haewon had been seen reading a feminist book, a detail that HYBE insiders speculated could be used against her.
Claims surfaced that Haewon was reading a feminist book. This could potentially be used as inflammatory content against her, with accusations of “team murder” in an attempt to capitalize on feminist issues.

Kyujin was also discussed in the document, which highlighted her appearance THE SSERAFIM Eunchae‘S Stylist show. HYBE’s report noted that Kyujin’s physical contrast with Eunchae during a challenge was “Remarkable and worrying,“despite the positive reception of his appearance on the show.
Kyujin appeared [LE SSERAFIM] Eunchae’s “Styler” show helped generate positive responses to the content, but during the challenge, the physical difference between her and Eunchae was quite noticeable and concerning.

Fans and netizens took to social media to express frustration with these comments, accusing HYBE of overstepping boundaries and disrespecting artists from other companies. Many are demanding responsibility from HYBE and the consequent apologies.
