SEVENTEEN‘S June is set to make his mark in the film industry by starring in the upcoming film The edge of the shadow. The film is already highly anticipated and has created a lot of excitement as it will also star legendary actors Jackie Chan AND By Tony Leung.
Jun will play Hu Feng, a key member of the evil Yangzi Tuan group. The story centers on the intense battle between a notorious criminal organization and the police determined to bring it to justice. Jackie Chan takes on the role of a seasoned detective, while Tony Leung Ka Fai will play Hu Feng’s adoptive father and the film’s main antagonist.
Directed by Larry Yang, known for his work on Mountain crywhich closed the 2015 Busan International Film Festival, the film has already attracted attention for its impressive cast and gripping plot.
Jun’s role as a villain will allow him to show off his action skills, drawing on his martial arts training from his youth. Fans eagerly await the passionate performances he will deliver alongside Jackie Chan and Tony Leung. As the adopted son of Leung’s character, Jun’s role also promises compelling on-screen chemistry.
This isn’t Jun’s first foray into acting. He made his film debut in 2006 with The Pye-Dogachieving recognition, including a prestigious nomination Hong Kong Film Awards. Recently, he has expanded his acting portfolio with roles in dramas such as Exclusive fairy tale AND Cloudy with a chance of sunshine.
