S.Coups from SEVENTEEN, Tukutz from Epik High, Younha, Lee Mujinand other talented artists have been officially promoted to full members of the Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA), a recognition of their contributions to the music industry!

On January 24, KOMCA announced its annual list of composers and lyricists selected for promotion. While anyone who holds music copyrights can join KOMCA as a junior member, only 30 junior members are chosen each year by the board of directors to be elevated to the prestigious status of full member. This promotion is highly coveted, recognizing significant contributions to musical creation and copyright ownership.
This year’s list of full member promotions doesn’t just include SEVENTEEN leader S.Coups and Epik High’s DJ Tukutz but also famous artists and producers such as Younha, Lee Mujin, The Quiett and MayBee. Furthermore, Lee Hwiminhalf of the renowned producing duo GroovyRoom, Park Yong Joon of The Classic, Park Yong Jinand trot singer Sang Chul Park they were also honored.
Becoming a full member of KOMCA is a significant milestone for artists and creators in South Korea’s music industry, as it reflects their influence and success in songwriting and composition. Full members also enjoy additional voting rights within the organization, allowing them to play a more active role in shaping the future of music copyright policy.
Fans and industry professionals also celebrated the recognition of these accomplished artists. S.Coups, known for his leadership and contribution to SEVENTEEN’s music, and Tukutz, also celebrated for his work as part of Epik High, represent the broad spectrum of talent honored this year.
