SEVENTEEN members are fined KRW 10 million if they miss their meetings

SEVENTEEN‘S Vernon guest in episode 4 of Haha AND Yang Se Chanis the new YouTube series Public TV fools.

Vernon revealed that the members of SEVENTEEN are quite close and continue to live together. However, the hosts know that a large group can sometimes suffer from misunderstandings, so they asked how to resolve the issue. Vernon explained that they communicate. He revealed that they also hold regular team meetings, which helps. Each month, a different member covers the costs.

The hosts wondered if there was a penalty for not wearing the costume. Vernon said no and that would only disappoint the member who organized the meeting.

Yet there is a penalty for something else!

Vernon revealed that you have to pay a fine of ₩10.0 million KRW (about $7,300 USD) if you miss a meeting, which is why no one ever misses a meeting! There is an exemption, though. If someone is legitimately sick or suffering from a fever, for example, they can lose it without penalty.

Although no one had to pay ₩10 million KRW (about $7,300), someone had to pay part of it for the delay. Members must pay ₩100,000 KRW (approximately $73.00 USD) for each minute of delay.

But where does the money go? The collected penalty is actually used when the PLEDIS Entertainment staff go to their meetings.
