Actress Seo Woo recently appeared on YouTube channel Pure Sooncheol in a video titled “Seo Woo Is Here, the Memories Return (With Updates and Behind Stories).” During the conversation, she spoke honestly about the changes she experienced after stepping away from show business.
“When I was actively working as a celebrity, there were people I was close to and people who treated me well, but almost none of them are around now,” Seo Woo said. “After I stopped working in the industry, I found myself not wanting to see people anymore. Sometimes I wonder if some people just liked the version of me back then.”
He continued, “I find myself thinking, ‘Is this because I don’t work anymore?’ There were so many people like that. It really impressed me. Seo Woo reflected that he has seen people change repeatedly, from before his debut until now. “I’ve seen so many people change over time. In a way, it seems like that’s how things work.” he said, expressing his mixed emotions.
Seo Woo made his debut in 2007 with the film A brand new lifeand continued to appear in major works such as He crushes and blushes, Willow, The waitressand popular dramas included Flames of Desire AND Cinderella’s sister.
In 2016, he revealed that he was battling an autoimmune disease. After his appearance in the 2019 film The Househas stopped official entertainment activities. Most recently, Seo Woo reassured fans by sharing an update on his health. “In the last few years away from the spotlight, I have worked very hard to become stronger,” he said. “I’m actually very healthy now.”
