On December 5, former Channel A reality show cast member Seo Min-jae (legally renamed Seo Eun-woo) uploaded a short video to her social media with the caption: “Nice to meet youâ„.”
The video showed a newborn baby, although the woman did not specifically confirm whether the baby was hers. However, based on the timing (Seo Min-jae previously shared a December 13 due date) many believe she has welcomed her first child.
On May 2, Seo Min-jae publicly revealed her pregnancy by writing âCongratulations on becoming a dadâ along with photos and personal information about her boyfriend. She later claimed that her boyfriend had disappeared after learning of the pregnancy, accused her of stalking and threatened legal action.
In response, the boyfriend (referred to as A) released a statement through his legal representative, saying: “After learning about the pregnancy, A continued to communicate with Seo Eun-woo, discussing the future and also informing his parents. He never shied away from responsibilities.”
The A party further alleged that Seo Min-jae had repeatedly called him dozens of times and visited his residence without notice starting from April 29, alleging that he had assaulted and confined him. Her legal representative stated that they intended to take legal action against her.
After publicly posting allegations for months, Seo Min-jae subsequently deleted all posts related to A. This sparked speculation that the two had come to an agreement.
But she denied it, saying: “I didn’t delete the posts because we reached an agreement. Thanks to those who care about me, near or far.”
He continued, “The biological father remains unresponsive and has blocked all contact. I am in a helpless position, simply hoping for communication. For this reason, I have delayed legal action and will remain silent regarding the other party’s alleged illegal actions.”
With Seo Min-jae seemingly alluding to the birth of her son, the public’s attention is once again focused on the unresolved dispute between her and the baby’s father and what the next steps might be.
