Actor and singer Seo In Guk graced the cover of Singles Japan’s March issue ahead of the release of the Netflix series “Boyfriend on request”where he stars alongside BLACKPINK’s Jisoo.
In the newly revealed image, Seo In Guk effortlessly flaunts a variety of outfits, showing both his refined, dandy charm and the ultimate “Boyfriend look.” Whether it’s tailored suits or relaxed casual wear, it exudes a refined but accessible charm.
During the accompanying interview, Seo In Guk spoke about “Boyfriend on Request” teasing the key elements of Netflix’s next romantic series. He explained it the drama centers on a virtual dating simulation concept layered with complex emotional arcs. According to him, viewers will find themselves deeply immersed as they follow the characters’ emotional journeys.
Discuss his character “Kyung Nam,” Seo In Guk described it as someone who may seem cold on the outside but does his job flawlessly. At the same time, Kyung Nam has an unexpectedly awkward and multifaceted side. With a laugh, Seo In Guk noted, “I’m not as serious as Kyung Nam,” describing themselves instead as playful and honest in expressing his emotions, highlighting the differences between him and his character.
Since the project falls into the romance genre, Seo In Guk naturally turned to his on-screen partner Jisoo. He praised her as a mood maker on set and said It fits his character perfectly. “As filming progressed, it seemed like the actress and the character became one,” he shared, expressing admiration for his perfect performance.
Reflecting on his dual career in acting and music, Seo In Guk said he learned how to do it understand emotions in a more structured way. He believes it his acting and musical careers positively influence each other, allowing him to deepen his artistic expression in both fields.
