BLACKPINK’s Rosé delighted fans around the world with a witty and heartfelt metaphor while discussing her hit song “APT.” during a recent interview with Apple Music.
Asked to rate the songs she personally wrote and composed, Rosé began with a laugh, saying, “I’ll call the songs I wrote my children.” Then he chose “APT.,” joking: “Among my kids, ‘APT.’ he’s the one who suddenly grew arms and legs on his own.
He went on to exaggerate the song’s success in a way that made listeners laugh. “He went to Harvard Law School on his own, and after I gave birth to him, he became president,” she said, underscoring how unexpectedly massive the track’s impact has been.
Continuing the analogy, Rosé added, “I feel like I’m the parent sitting at home with glasses, scrolling through SNS, and feeling proud.” She jokingly exclaimed, “Oh my God, my fourth child turned out so well. What’s going on?”
