Rosé reveals how to deal with anxiety and negative comments

On November 28th a video inclined “Session 46: Rosé | Therapuss with Jake Shane” was posted on American influencer Jake Shane’s YouTube channel.

Here, when Jake Shane said that Rosé suffers from anxiety, the female idol stated this while holding a squishy.

According to Rosé, she would use the squishy whenever she is in meetings or similar environments, adding that “I can’t work without it” due to anxiety.

“I just get anxious, I don’t know if it’s ADHD, I don’t even know what it is, but like I need it and then if I have it in my hand, I feel like I can concentrate,” the BLACKPINK member confessed.

The female idol then went on to say that her muscles would tense up and she would do strange things whenever she subjected herself to these anxiety sessions.

Later, when asked if she had always suffered from anxiety, Rosé responded: “I only started noticing it recently, which is why I feel like it only started recently. I think things have gotten really bad in the last few years.

“I have anxiety and will tell myself I just need 5 minutes. I need a quiet break. You know how people go for smoke breaks, I need a soft break,” he added.

Continuing the theme of mental health, Rosé discussed how she kept reading negative comments and how they affected her.

According to the female idol, she often finds herself on the “wrong side” of social media and sees comments that would ruin her day, but she keeps scrolling and feels worse the more she reads.

“I see a negative one and say ‘that’s not true’, but the worst thing is when you read something you’ve already thought about yourself and say ‘oh my God, they notice’”Rosé spoke out, adding: “The world of haters is like weeds, if you don’t cut them they will grow.”

According to Rosé, anger got to her, she hated negative comments to the point that it seemed disgusting to her and she ended up crying a lot.

Ultimately, Rosé put her frustration into her songs “spread it away”, and derive enjoyment from the songwriting process.
