Rookie K-pop group POW has landed the rare opportunity to work with award-winning pop-punk singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne!
On October 10, it was announced that the boy group will release the song “Boyfriend”, a reinterpretation of Lavigne’s hit “Girlfriend”, released in 2007.
The report specified that the K-pop group’s song was created with the help of Lavigne herself, along with original and new songwriters.

After the announcement, POW fans are lose grip on social media and began praising the K-pop group for such an exciting collaboration.

POW is GRID Entertainment’s first-ever group, consisting of five members: Jungbin, Yorch, Hong, Hyunbin, and Dongyeon.
They unveiled their pre-debut song “Favorite” on September 13, 2023, and debuted their self-titled EP in October.
