RIIZE’s Seunghan posted a handwritten apology before his comeback

On October 11, SM Entertainment announced that Seunghan will resume activities as a member of RIIZE, refuting previous claims that he would leave the group.

Following this announcement, Seunghan posted a handwritten letter, apologizing to the members and fans and expressing his gratitude.

Below is RIIZE’s full handwritten letter from Seunghan:

“Hi, I’m Seunghan.

First of all, I would like to sincerely apologize to the members and fans.

When the pre-debut photos were released, I felt deeply disappointed to see such a terrible image of myself. I can’t even imagine how the members and fans around me must have felt.

I’m sure everyone was angry, shocked and disappointed.

I apologize to the fans who supported me from the beginning. It was such an important moment for me. I also apologize to those who were hurt by my immature actions. I feel guilty towards the members who had to work even harder after the suspension of my activities. I also want to apologize to everyone who has had to deal with the consequences of this situation. I am incredibly sorry for all this and feel desperate that I cannot be at the members’ side.

After causing such immense disappointment, I thought long and hard about whether I could go on stage again or continue my musical career. That’s when the members contacted me once again. I am extremely grateful and very sorry that they decided to give me another chance, because I know it must have been a very difficult decision.

I understand that I have a lot to prove to meet the expectations of the members, of the fans who are worried whether the group’s results will be affected and of the club that has made this difficult decision. I feel a lot of pressure and fear about this. However, I know that I have to work harder and do better to repay the trust everyone has placed in me.

I will do my best to become a better member with a sense of responsibility so as not to tarnish the achievements of my fellow members. I want to be an essential part of RIIZE.

To the members, staff and fans, I sincerely apologize for causing so much concern and shock.

I promise to work harder and be more responsible in the future.”
