RIIZE fans hold in-person protests in support of Seunghan

The protests will continue throughout the weekend.

As many know, it was announced earlier this month Seunghan would start from RIIZE after the news of the resumption of activity.

Since then, fans who support the idol have made their displeasure known, first through protest trucks. Fans also began boycotting all RIIZE content, receiving support from many K-Pop merchandise retailers.

The next part of the ongoing protest efforts that fans decided to enact was an in-person protest.

Protesting in person is not a new phenomenon, and SM Entertainment has seen fans protest in person on more than one occasion, although the circumstances were different.

Fans began spreading information about the dates and times of the protest, advising some fans not to attend due to concerns about their visa status. The protests were due to take place from 18 to 20 October from 12pm to 9pm.

On the day of the first protest, fans encountered an unexpected deterrent: rain.

Despite this, fans still arrived to protest, following established guidelines, which included a limit of 50 people at a time.

Fans remained present throughout the day, and once the day’s protests were over, they cleaned up any messes left behind.

Fans around the world have shown support for these protesters in person and hope this will help them achieve their goals.

The protests will continue for the remaining two days, and fans in the United States have planned a protest near SM Town Square in Los Angeles.
