Red Velvet’s Joy has renewed her contract with SM Entertainment.
In a statement shared by SM Entertainment, they confirmed that Joy is the third member of Red Velvet to renew her contract with the company.
We are happy to be able to continue our beautiful collaboration with Joy, following Seulgi and Irene and their contract renewals. We will work hard to not only allow her to promote with Red Velvet but also as a soloist Joy and as an actress Park Soo Young.

Joy also shared a statement reaffirming her trust in SM Entertainment.

Joy becomes the third member of Red Velvet to renew her contract with SM Entertainment, following Irene in February 2024 and Seulgi in August 2023. There were previously rumors about Joy leaving SM Entertainment but she ultimately decided to remain.
