On December 12, Jvcki Wai uploaded several photos and a lengthy statement to her Instagram, writing: “I couldn’t leave the house for two weeks.” The images showed what appeared to be bruises and wounds on his face and arms.
According to shared screenshots, Jvcki Wai had informed her agency’s CEO on November 26, saying: “Yesterday I had a fight and my face ended up like this”, adding that he may have to decline an appearance House of Rap due to his condition.
She also revealed emails, voicemails and missed call logs allegedly sent by the ex-boyfriend following the incident. A read email, “I’m sorry. I’m away from home. I’ll do better. Please forgive me.” Jvcki Wai explained: “After that, when I didn’t open the door, he cursed at me.”
Explaining why she chose to go public with the situation, Jvcki Wai wrote that her ex-partner allegedly knocked on her door for more than an hour, attempted to enter by pressing the password on the keypad and once prevented her from leaving the house on the day of the attack.
“To completely stop things, this was the only way,” he stated, adding, “After I posted it, he stopped contacting me. I apologize if this made anyone uncomfortable.”
She also expressed gratitude to those who helped her with the release of her album, saying she remained silent to avoid causing harm. Jvcki Wai also urged the public not to direct criticism towards other KC artists or related companies for the incident.
As of now, the Instagram post containing the allegations has been deleted. No official statement was released by the alleged perpetrator.
Right in the middle of the heated controversy, producer Vangdale spoke out to reject the accusations made by his girlfriend. In particular, the producer born in 1993 harshly accused Jvcki Wai in return, claiming that she had attacked him first, forcing him to act in self-defense and inadvertently causing her injuries.
Vangdale also responded to netizens who criticized him, saying: “Please make sure you understand the whole story before you attack me. I’m the one who was hit 99 times and got a curse from her. I even hurt myself trying to stop her from going into a frenzy. If I knew what I went through, I wouldn’t dare say these things.”
Jvcki Wai debuted in 2016 and is currently signed to AOMG. Vangdale, who is three years older than Jvcki Wai, is a producer affiliated with KC Entertainment. He has worked on songs for several idol groups, including BADVILLIAN, THE BOYZ and VIVIZ.
