Anticipation for TWICE’s upcoming fourteenth mini album “Strategy” has been building ever since its announcement on October 21st. However, JYP Entertainment released a sudden update postponing one of the group’s concept photos.
On November 12, ONCE came together in a community thread titled “TWICE’s Statement for Their Concept Photos.” The author then uploaded a screenshot of the agency’s statement.
JYP shared that the concept photo has been rescheduled to November 14th instead of November 13th. The company also expressed gratitude to fans for their kind understanding.
OP also shared, “Without any announcement beforehand, they delayed it by 11 hours, so it’s understandable that people were upset.”
Some netizens were frustrated by the sudden postponement. They included remarks such as: “They should have released the statement at midnight” and “What’s the point?”
However, international fans think the statement was referring to actor Song Jae Rim’s death on November 12. Commenters believed that the agency delayed the release of the concept photo to respect the deceased.
One mentioned the wording of the statement: “Is it because of the actor’s death? Then they should have specified it and sent condolences instead of being vague, which can confuse fans and lead to misunderstandings.”
