Lee Naeun was once accused of bullying fellow group member Lee Hyunjoo.
A famous Korean YouTuber named Kwak tube recently posted a video with ex APRIL‘S Lee NaeunKwak Tube has over 2 million subscribers and is known for its ties to the entertainment industry.
In the now-deleted video, he was on a tour of Europe with Naeun. It was claimed that they met because she was in London while he was preparing to leave for France from London. A conversation they had over dinner had netizens furious.
In the conversation, he talked about how he initially blocked Naeun after news of her bullying broke. He later unblocked her after reading an article in which she denied bullying him. He also apologized for being sensitive, as he had also been a victim of bullying.
In other scenes where they travel together, they seem very close, with Naeun sometimes feeding them.
- I’m so disappointed in you, Kwak Tube. It’s not like you’re the victim, so why do you forgive her?
- Lee Hyunjoo is bullied. Kwak Tube is the second culprit. I hope I never see him on YouTube again.
- If Kwak Tube forgives Lee Naeun by saying that he is sorry for not understanding her well, based on the fact that she was kind to him, the people who bullied Kwak Tube would also be good people to the people close to them. I am disappointed in him because the fact that bullies are kind to others is something that makes the victim feel worse. So if people say that Kwak Tube bullies are not bad people, he loses the right to argue.
- The allegations of school bullying are false, but in the court verdict documents, APRIL, including Lee Naeun, had indeed bullied Lee Hyunjoo, so her claims of gang bullying could not be considered defamation.
Naeun and the other members of APRIL, aside Rachel who joined the group later, were accused of bullying former member Lee Hyunjoo. Through court documents, it was revealed that Naeun admitted to some of the accused incidents, such as putting heavily fermented Cheon Guk Jang stew in Hyunjoo’s tumbler, as well as using her shoes.
