Normally, when male idols prepare for their compulsory military enlistment, special care is taken to give them an appropriate greeting. For example, in the case of the recently-retired NCT‘S Tae-YongThe idol managed to release an album before starting his service.
Recently, the surprise announcement of a popular third-generation idol’s enlistment has brought to light the alleged mistreatment he was subjected to by his agency.
In 2012, the group of boys IT IS NOT made his debut under Pledis Entertainmentremaining active until their disbandment in 2022.
At that time, the members went their separate ways, including Reneewho signed with BPM Entertainment. The same year, she made her solo debut with Appointment, showing off a new look.
On September 2nd, it was announced that she would begin her mandatory service as a social worker on the 26th. And while this wasn’t entirely unexpected given her age, the announcement came after several months of inactivity on her official pages.
In response, one fan detailed other instances of alleged mistreatment by BPM, including inactivity.

Furthermore Appointment being his only release in his two years under the agency, BPM has reportedly neglected to maintain his online presence. In particular, Ren’s Spotify account appears to have been taken over by another singer, who has altered his official profile and music.
Ren also issued an apology regarding the sudden enlistment notice, stating that he wanted to have a chance to say goodbye to fans before it happened.
