Actor Park Si-hoo will return to the big screen for the first time in ten years.
His new film, “Chorus of God” (directed by Kim Hyung-hyupproduced by Objective of the study), officially confirmed its release in December 2025. The production also unveiled two launch posters designed with a North Korean parody aesthetic, attracting the curiosity of the public.
The film tells the story of a fake propaganda choir formed in North Korea to earn foreign exchange, a satirical premise that blends political drama and musical comedy. Promoted as “the first North Korea-themed musical film”, was filmed between Mongolia and Hungary, featuring large-scale outdoor scenes in harsh winter conditions.
Park Si-hoo play Gyo-suna stoic North Korean Security Bureau officer who leads the fake gang and undergoes an emotional transformation during the mission.
