JTBC’s new drama “Waiting for Gyeongdo” tells the story of Lee Gyeong-do (played by Park Seo-joon) and Seo Ji-woo (played by Won Ji-an), who reunite under unusual circumstances: as a journalist who wrote an article about a scandal and the wife of the scandal’s central figure. The series follows their bittersweet and deeply touching romantic journey.
In the drama, Park Seo-joon plays Lee Gyeong-do, a reporter from the entertainment section of Dongwoon Ilbo. Gyeong-do is a down-to-earth office worker, with no particularly sharp edges or eccentric traits. His life takes an unexpected turn when he meets his ex-girlfriend, Seo Ji-woo (Won Ji An), whose husband becomes the subject of a sensational scandal.
