On April 17, the 51st Civil Division of the central district court of Soul (president of Judge Park Sang-Oon) partially granted Tzuyang’s injunction request to delete and ban the publication of the video.
The Court said, “The video in question contains content that could significantly damage the reputation and social evaluation of the signatory. It also violates its right to privacy and includes issues that should be protected as personal secrets.”
The Court concluded that the video “passed the scope of the legitimate expression of the rights and illegally violated the honor and privacy of the signatory”.
Last July, Kim SE-EU revealed an audio recording claiming that Tzuyang had been blackmailed by colleague YouTuber Gu Ja-Yeok (real name Lee Joon-Hee) and others. The alleged threat focused on Tzuyang’s past in an adult entertainment plant.
Tzuyang later explained that he had worked there due to physical abuse and coercion by an ex -boyfriend. However, Kim Se-EU continued to transmit statements that his explanation was false. In response, Tzuyang filed a criminal complaint against Kim Se-EU for violating the anti-stalking act, blackmail and coercion.
Although the police initially rejected the case in February due to insufficient evidence, the charge accepted Tzuyang’s appeal and requested additional investigations from the police last month.
