After the success of Produce 101Similar survival shows have grown in popularity. Likewise, themed spin-offs have been filmed in countries outside of Korea, such as the Chinese Produce the field (also known as Chuang).
In 2024, another spin-off of the series, ChuangAsia Thailand, featured trainees from different countries competing to debut as members of GEN1ES.

Due to the success of the show, a male version has been announced, with applicants accepted until September 2024. The series will begin airing on February 2, but most of the trainees competing on the show have already been announced.
Some may be familiar to viewers from previous experiences, such as Dong Dongwho competed most recently The planet of boys.
Another intern who may be familiar to some is Intuitive Entertainment‘S Gather. Kohi is 22 years old and Chuang Asia 2 being his first survival program.
Kohi is probably better known to some as Jung Hyunthe handsome contestant who won over viewers during his time on His Man. His Man was Korea’s first gay dating reality program, featuring eight singles looking for love, and continued for another three seasons.
After the show, Kohi’s popularity in China helped him achieve success.
