Oh My Girl Mimi has gone viral for her new hair and makeup look, which is a departure from her signature braids.

On August 26, Oh My Girl returned to the music scene with their tenth mini-album, “Dreamy Resonance”, and the title track, “Classified”.
After their release, they began promoting their music shows on Mnet’s “M Countdown” on the 29th, KBS2’s “Music Bank” on the 30th, MBC’s “Show! Music Core” on the 31st, and SBS’s “Inkigayo” on September 1st.
In their first week of activity, the sextet showed off their outstanding vocals, dances and visuals, garnering an explosive reception from K-pop fans.
However, Mimi was said to be the one who stood out the most, especially when she showed off her new hairstyle, improved makeup and coordination or “hemeko”.
To recall, people criticized the member for breaking the group’s princess image by keeping her braided hair and daily makeup. Fans thought that she stood out a lot for the wrong reasons, noting that she should adapt her style to the group’s pure and innocent image.
During their last appearances on music shows, Mimi surprised viewers when she finally took down her braids and let her mermaid curls loose.

The idol also changed up her makeup style and opted for a more natural idol look, instead of her usual bright pink lipstick and tanned hue.
When MIRACLEs fans saw this, Mimi was praised and recognized for her commitment to improving her style after listening to their feedback.
Contrary to her previous hip style, fans have compared the idol to Disney characters and commented that her beauty with mermaid curls reminded them of Moana. At the same time, her appearance reminds of Esmeralda from “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”.
