OG YG family reunites at 2NE1 concert, fans get excited: “They are my youth”

K-pop fans were in tears after seeing the OG YG family reunited in one frame for the first time in ten years! With this, fans hope that Yang Hyun Suk can give them a reunion concert.

On October 6th, 2NE1 successfully concluded the last day of their 3-day concert in Seoul and it was truly amazing!

Aside from their nostalgic performances of its many hits and dance crazes, the event became even more special as BLACKJACK witnessed the heartwarming support for the quartet from the entire K-pop industry.

The seniors and juniors of the music scene were present at the event, including the original YG family, composed of second and third generation artists including SEVEN, Gummy, BIGBANG, WINNER and iKON.

Although the OG family has already gone their separate ways and dispersed across different labels, their closeness remained as they all found time for 2NE1 and after a decade, the 2024 version of the YG family was finally created.

Indeed, it was a touching moment for older YG fans since after the hiatus of BIGBANG and 2NE1, this family was unable to be completed again.

Fans expressed how these groups were the ones who originally helped pave the way for K-pop and seeing them again, they became emotional as they remembered each artist and group’s impact on their lives as fans.

Meanwhile, the latest members of the YG family which include BLACKPINK, BABYMONSTER, excluding TREASURE, were also seen at the concert, and Jennie also took a photo with the quartet.
