NMIXX Sullyoon praised for urging NSWERs to shower: ‘Washing dishes is a basic routine’

NMIXX Sullyoon drew laughter and praise after inviting fans to take a shower – she really means it!

On September 24, the lead singer took to the messaging app Bubble and sent out a barrage of reminders to NSWERs (NMIXX fandom) to wash up, imploring them to commit to following basic hygiene practices.

• “I don’t know if you’re serious or not, but there’s no choice but to wash the dishes.”
• “Washing dishes is a basic routine!”
• “The presence or absence of makeup determines whether you are clean or dirty. But who doesn’t wash the dishes!”
• “Not washing dishes doesn’t even deserve to be considered dirty!”

Then, a fan replied to her chat and said: “I don’t wash dishes and I wear perfume.”

Sullyoon, who didn’t seem amused by the response, replied, “Go take a shower.”

On X (formerly Twitter), fans praised Sullyoon for speaking out about the issue and expressed their disdain for those who don’t have good personal hygiene.

Following this incident, fans recalled a similar incident involving fromis_9 Jisun. In April 2022, the idol told flovers (fromis_9 fandom) that it bothers her whenever fans go to group events without showering.

She wrote via Weverse: “Jissen really hates it when you don’t wash the dishes so I’ll wash my face.”

He also urged fans not to overdo it.
