February 9, Njz (Newjeans) held an interview with the Japanese media ASAHI on their new group name and independent activities.
As for the name, Hanni I revealed that there was a special meaning behind the announcement of the new name on February 7th.
Our debut date is July 22nd and February 7 seems like a decal. We wanted to make the NJZ activities more fun, so we thought it was the perfect day even before making the announcement.

Danielle also mentioned Bunnies And I felt that the new name corresponded to the name Fandom.
Some of our fans write Bnz, who is witty and fun. Seeing that they combined their name to our best friends is so fun and cute.
