On the December 21st episode of SBS Running Man the cast took part in a competition entitled “Reach for Your Christmas Present” with various unique Christmas gifts. The concept required each member to identify and recover their gift to avoid a penalty.
Before filming, each cast member had prepared a gift for someone else. Once the rules were explained, a pile of gift boxes was revealed. Producers warned that those who guessed incorrectly would be penalized and some might not receive any gifts.
Haha reacted furiously, saying: “How is this a Christmas party?” Meanwhile, Yoo Jae Suk expressed concern, adding: “It’s not just any gift. Didn’t they say something like ‘a gift you don’t need’? This condition seems shady.”
As members began opening presents one by one, they stopped at a set of vintage-style glasses, museum-themed souvenirs. Trying to deduce who it was for, Kim Jong Kook surmised: “It might be for Ji Hyo, since she likes to drink. Or maybe it’s meant for me, as a couple. Maybe it’s to get me drunk and make a move,” playfully hugging his “spouses” image.
Then came the shock: A huge gift box was opened, revealing a pair of leopard-print underwear. The members groaned in disbelief. Yoo Jae Suk said bluntly, “Forget the price – it’s just offensive.” The rest of the cast were quick to pile on the criticism, laughing at the ridiculousness of the gift.
Yoo Jae Suk theorized, “It looks like something they had lying around that they just gave away.” Yang Se Chan added, “What if someone tried it and then repackaged it?” making everyone shudder.
Holding up the underwear, the cast exclaimed, “Who would wear something so scandalous? It’s also huge!” However, Kim Jong Kook smiled and stated this: “I think those leopard panties are for me. I’m married now, maybe they want me to set the mood and have a baby.”
Yoo Jae Suk replied sarcastically, “Do you think this will set the mood?” sending the room into laughter.
