NewJeans has given HYBE/ADOR an ultimatum to meet THESE conditions within two weeks, otherwise all members will terminate their exclusive contracts.
On November 13, Korean media revealed that NewJeans sent a letter to ADOR, asking the label and its current CEO Kim Joo Young to take corrective action against the problems surrounding them in exchange for their exclusive contract.
In a shared page of the letter, members made their intentions clear by personally signing the last page with their real names.
First, they want ADOR to address concerns arising from HYBE’s leaked internal document that suggested “throwing out” NewJeans from forming their girl group “뉴•아•르” (NewJeans, ILLIT, LE SSERAFIM) and starting over boss.
The group clearly wants HYBE to determine who initiated the sabotage, the people subject to that directive, and take civil action against them for breach of trust and misconduct.
Finally, a copy of the complete audit will be delivered to NewJeans.
Additionally, NewJeans issued an apology to Belift Lab staff who told ILLIT to ignore Hanni, as well as delete all videos and content featuring NewJeans posted without their permission.
The “Ditto” singer also called for corrective action against their involvement in the album promotion controversy and for HYBE to make amends with Dolphiners director Shin Wooseok to restore their videos (on YouTube).
The five members also asked to protect their unique colors and works created with Min Hee Jin.

But their biggest demand is to reinstate CEO Min Hee Jin as CEO of ADOR. NewJeans said:
“We will correct all serious violations of the exclusivity agreement that we are addressing within 14 days of receipt of this letter. If ADOR does not accept the request for corrective action, we will terminate our exclusivity agreement.”
In this regard, the ADOR side was cautious in responding, but said:
“We have not received the certified mail yet, so we are unable to give you any information.”
