At the first Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA), held on November 16 at Inspire Arena in Unseo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon, NewJeans was announced as the winner of the Best Artist Award.
In their acceptance speech, NewJeans said: “Thanks to everyone who loves us, supports us and is by our side, we have been able to reach this point and experience these incredible moments. We are deeply grateful to all the staff who always help us, CEO Min Hee-jin and the Bunnies who came to cheer us on.“

Hosted by Ilgan Sports (Edaily M) and organized by the KGMA Organizing Committee, KGMA 2024 celebrates achievements in K-pop, trot, band, solo and other diverse popular music genres. The ceremony takes place over two days, November 16 and 17, at the Inspire Arena in Unseo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon.
