NewJeans made their third consecutive appearance at the Asia Artist Awards (AAA 2024), held on December 27 at IMPACT Challenger Hall 1-2 in Bangkok.
After making their debut at AAA 2022, where they won Artist of the Year and New Artist of the Year, NewJeans continued their success at AAA 2023 with 6 awards, including Song of the Year. This year they won Artist of the Year, Best Artist and Best Performance at “AAA 2024”, marking their third consecutive win.
Minji mused, “We’ve done a lot of shows this year and it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our Bunnies. We are very grateful and will continue to work hard.”
NewJeans achieved great success with releases such as the double single “How Sweet” and their debut single in Japan, “Supernatural”. Danielle shared that 2023 was a year full of growth and exciting memories, while Haerin also expressed her enjoyment of the year’s phases. When asked what their favorite songs of the year were, all members agreed on “Supernatural,” which they said was full of energy and excitement, just like their debut song “Attention.”
Looking ahead to 2024, members expressed their goals for the coming year. Danielle encouraged her fans, “Bunnies, let’s stay safe and get everything we want next year. Thank you and I love you.” Haerin added, “Thank you for everything this year and we will see you again next year for even more fun.” Hyein wanted to continue being together with her fans.
The 2024 Asia Artist Awards featured the year’s top artists, including groups such as LE SSERAFIM, BIBI, Suho, ZEROBASEONE and others, as well as actors such as Kim Soo-hyun, Park Min-young and others.
