On November 12, ADOR released an official statement confirming that members Haerin and Hyein have expressed their intention to continue their activities under ADOR. The agency said “After extensive discussions with their families, both members have agreed to respect the court’s ruling and abide by their exclusivity contracts. ADOR will fully support their smooth return to activities.”
Shortly after, members Minji, Hanni and Danielle also announced their decision to return. The three members shared, “After careful consideration, we have decided to resume activities with ADOR. One member could not respond immediately because he was abroad, but we are united in our decision. We will continue to satisfy fans with heartfelt music and performances.”
ADOR responded briefly, saying it was “verifying the authenticity of the members’ intentions,” but given the agency’s previous stance in welcoming their return, the group’s full return to ADOR appears to be confirmed.
This development also raises new questions about Hee-jin and Min’s future relationship New Jeans. Following her dismissal from ADOR last year, Min had been involved in a series of legal disputes with both ADOR and HYBE, claiming that her removal was unfair and that her absence had damaged trust between the group and the company.
