According to the media SPOTV Newsdirector Shin Woo Seok initiated legal action against I LOVE IT.
It was revealed that he filed a complaint against the CEO of ADOR, Ju Young Kimand Deputy CEO, Lee Do Kyungfor defamation.
Director Shin is known for New Jeansmusic videos, including “Ditto”, “ETA” and “OMG”. He also managed the YouTube channel Ban Heesoowhich received a huge response from fans all over the world.
Amid the disputes between HYBE and ADOR, Shin revealed that ADOR has requested the deletion of videos and other works related to NewJeans. In particular, the contents of Ban Heesoo’s YouTube channel have garnered a lot of attention from various age groups.
However, ADOR responded, stating that they had only requested the suspension of the director’s cut of the “ETA” music video, which they had previously had conflicts with. They maintained that they did not request the deletion or suspension of any NewJeans-related videos.
When Director Shin revealed that ADOR had threatened to double the service fee and lied to the media, ADOR denied it, claiming that Shin had violated the contract.
