Minji has been confirmed as the host of the beloved show “The Return of Superman.”

On October 28, Korean news outlet Sports Kyunghyang reported that Minji will appear on the show according to KBS. Recordings have also concluded and the episode will air in November.

During the recording, Minji reportedly met national fencing player Kim Junho’s children, namely Eunwoo and Jungwoo. The two children also showed irresistible chemistry with previous guests such as Cha Eun Woo, Oh Sang Wook and Kim Ho Young.

The outlet also shared that their meeting with Minji is also gaining attention online. Additionally, the highly anticipated episode will mark Minji’s first solo appearance on a variety show.

The idol has previously appeared in KBS shows such as “2 Days & 1 Night” and “Boss In The Mirror” with his group NewJeans.

On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), fans caught a leaked photo showing Minji holding a baby.

Some recalled NewJeans’ cameo on the 2023 show, when Eunwoo was shown having fun on the girl group’s comeback stage for “Hype Boy.”

Fans also expressed how exciting it was to see Eunwoo finally meet Minji in person!
