On December 29th, New Jeans‘ The Bunnies fandom said: “Despite everything New Jeans members who have expressed their intention to get back together, HYBE and ADOR have notified only one member of the contract termination. This is a violent act aimed at unilaterally dismantling the entire pentagram New Jeans and it is an act of deception towards the court, artists and fans.
They continue: “The Court recognized the validity of exclusive contracts based on mutual trust, but once and for all New Jeans declared their return, ADOR suddenly changed its attitude and notified the dismissal of only one member, attempting to deliberately divide the group,” adding: “ADOR CEO Lee Do-kyung appealed to the court to bring New Jeans back only to tear them to pieces?”

New Jeans has been engaged in a dispute with ADOR over their exclusivity contracts for approximately a year from November 2024. After losing the first trial in October in a lawsuit to have the validity of the contract confirmed, all members declared their return to ADOR. However, ADOR drew a line, stating that there had been no prior consultation regarding the return of Minji, Hanni and Danielle, excluding members Haerin and Hyein.
ADOR announced its position today after continuing discussions with Minji, Hanni and Danielle for more than a month and a half. ADOR confirmed Hanni’s return to the agency and said he is “in talks” with Minji. However, by notifying Danielle of the termination of the contract, five full members New Jeans the businesses ultimately failed.
