It was reported that OPES, the law firm representing Bunnies, filed a complaint with the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul for violating the Personal Information Protection Law and violating the Information and Communication Network Law, demanding that the three parties are held responsible for information leakage and defamation.

Dispatch claimed that Min Hee Jin had used unethical ways to distance NewJeans from Source Music. Lee Hyun Kon, a lawyer from Saeol Law Office, said: “If the leaked Kakao Talk conversations were provided internally to the company, including the HYBE PR team, it would be a serious leak of personal information and even the act of writing an article knowing this intention could be illegal.”
Bunnies said it will continue to press charges against harmful articles and posts related to NewJeans following the explosive Dispatch article.
