On September 2, 2024, fans realized that a YouTube channel had been instrumental in NewJeansThe conceptual world of “Ditto” had been tampered with. All videos on the channel named “Heesoo Ban” have been deleted.
Ban Heesoo was a character from the conceptual world of “Ditto” meant to represent the girls’ fandom, Bunnies. The Ban Heesoo YouTube channel featured short videos of the girls filming “Ditto,” along with posts written from Ban Heesoo’s perspective.

Since the channel’s videos have been deleted, the director Shin Woo-Seok is awho directs Dolphin Movieposted an announcement on his personal Instagram. He stated that due to the change in management, Dolphiners Films will no longer be able to work with ADOR. He expressed how disappointed he was that he would not be able to finish or release some of the projects he had planned with the NewJeans girls.
I believe ADOR’s policies have changed along with the new management. ADOR has asked us to delete the videos and channel that Dolphiners Films worked on and uploaded in connection with the NewJeans “Ditto” music video. We will now be unable to upload all the videos we originally planned to post.
Dolphiners Films has used Ban Heesoo’s YouTube channel as a way to catalog and archive our work, without a single cent of profit. The videos and channel were made proactively because we wanted to do something good for the fans. Dolphiners Films does not earn any profit. But since ADOR has changed their stance on this, as per their request, we will be deleting everything and will no longer be able to make any videos public.
From now on, I think Dolphiners Films will no longer be able to work with ADOR. We had promised projects between us and the members of NewJeans, but I am sorry that we can no longer make them happen. I am also sorry for the staff who have been working late for months and, most of all, for the fans waiting.
