The photos come after V published an update on Weverse, in which he revealed that he now weighs 72.5 kg. Before arruping, the BTS member weighed only about 62 kg. He said he aims to reach 86 kilograms while serving military service.
Since he enlisted in December 2023, V has served in the special service team (SDT), an elite unit focused on anti-terrorism and special operations pursuant to the 2nd army body. His assignment to this prestigious unit came after a rigorous selection process, which included projections of demanding documents, interviews and physical suitability tests.
V should be discharged on June 10th. He is one of the five members of the remaining BTS who still serve in the army, in the Suga, who enlisted in September 2023; And RM, Jungkook and Jimin, who started their service in December 2023. They also expect to be discharged in June.
Two members of the BTS were discharged: Jin, who completed his service in June 2024, and J-Hope, who finished his military period in October last year.
Members are expected to meet and resume group activities once everyone has completed military service.
