New allegations emerge against actor Lee Yi-kyung amid ongoing privacy scandal

On December 12, a woman identifying herself as “Jenny, a 26-year-old German” posted the message on social media: “If anyone still thinks I’m an artificial intelligence, raise your hand. This is really the last time. If it’s real, then the rest of the KakaoTalk messages must be real too, right? I’m embarrassed, but I had no choice.”

He shared a screen recording showing what he claims are direct messages (DMs) exchanged with Lee Yi-kyung, including his selfie and the actor’s alleged replies. In the video, the woman reportedly initiated the conversation by texting Lee in 2024, saying, “You’re my ideal type. Are you okay with foreigners?” To which he allegedly replied, “You speak Korean well. What country are you in?”

As the conversation progressed, the woman addressed Lee as “oppa” and sent him a selfie with some revealing elements. According to the screenshots, Lee allegedly commented, “You don’t look German, you look Korean. But you covered it in flowers,” apparently referring to parts of the image that were blacked out.

More controversially, he shared what he claimed were messages in which Lee asked questions about sexual culture and commented on his appearance, allegedly saying things like:
“It’s amazing how a conversation can get this far just by looking at breasts.”
“What is your size?”
“E-cup? I’ve never seen her in real life.”
“Give me your KakaoTalk ID.”

However, the authenticity of the video and messages has not been independently verified.

Lee Yi-kyung has been under scrutiny since October, when the same woman posted allegations on online communities and social media. At the time, Lee’s agency strongly denied the claims and announced that legal action was being prepared in response to malicious rumors and defamation.

Lee himself addressed the issue on his social media, sharing a photo of the legal complaint and stating, “The reason I didn’t comment earlier was due to my agency’s request not to speak until we completed the legal procedures. A few days ago, I visited the Gangnam Police Station and completed a formal statement as a plaintiff. I filed a defamation complaint based on threats and false information.”
