On September 13, screenshots of the SNS Blind platform, which requires verified company emails to register, were released and quickly went viral. These screenshots included a message from an ADOR employee.
In particular, this employee can be seen making fun of NewJeans, which leads one to assume that Hanni’s concerns about NewJeans being marginalized are not overblown.
“It’s embarrassing. The fact that that kind of live broadcast was released to the world,” one of the messages said.
Furthermore, it was pointed out that ADOR employees had never used Blind before, leading to speculation that the messages were created by new employees who joined ADOR after Min Hee-jin was fired.
The person who spread the blind messages also added: “The company was extremely pro-feminist, but seeing the comment and the way it was written shows that a false ADOR will not protect NewJeans.”
On the other hand, NewJeans’ Hanni previously claimed that a HYBE artist’s manager told them to “ignore” Hanni when they met. Then, when she told ADOR’s new CEO about this situation, she was told that they couldn’t do anything because there was no evidence.
“I realized that the people who could have protected us were now gone.”, Hanni then added.
