Netizens have reacted to the dating rumors resurfacing between aespa‘S Gisella AND TREASURE‘S Jihoon.
Earlier this year, Giselle and Jihoon dating rumors surfaced, fueled by an alleged photo of the pair “kissing.” The rumors were quickly debunked as false when the true source of the photo was discovered.

However, they appear to have resurfaced following an interaction at a recent awards show.
November 17th, the second day of Korean Big Music Awards 2024 took place and hosted numerous K-Pop idols. Both aespa and TREASURE were in attendance, and each group took home prizes.
During one of aespa’s awards speeches, the camera’s focus shifted to Jihoon, who looked a little flustered as he smiled. One account posted this to imply that her reaction was due to Aespa being on stage, fueling previously false dating rumors.

Almost instantly, netizens reacted, taking steps to debunk the reason for Jihoon’s reaction. According to a clip posted by a fan, Jihoon’s reaction was due to the camera being focused on him for a long period of time, rather than who was on stage.
