Netizens Angry Over Triple Star Chef’s ‘Personal Life Controversy’ At Upcoming Seoul Culinary Event

On October 30, a report revealed that Triple Star (real name Kang Seung-won) became embroiled in a “double life” controversy. His ex-wife, whom he married and divorced in 2022, has made serious allegations against him. He claims he successfully got a job at a Michelin restaurant with her money and maintained relationships with both her and another girl at the same time.

Furthermore, shocking details emerged from a letter (apology note) written by Triple Star himself, in which he described instances such as “a provocatively dressed customer sitting alone at a table, while I secretly watched through CCTV from a dark warehouse ” and “ I asked another man to sleep with my wife because of my greed.

Additionally, a YouTuber claimed that Triple Star attempted to misuse restaurant funds without his ex-wife’s knowledge. The restaurant he currently runs was reportedly financed by his ex-wife and her parents, each investing 150 million won. However, after the business began to struggle, Triple Star secretly sent funds to his parents, which his ex-wife discovered. This incident was one of the reasons he cited for their divorce.

Despite ongoing controversies in his personal life, Triple Star will attend the upcoming event. He will participate in the “2024 A500BR Seoul Commemorative Special Popup Event”, a culinary event hosted by the city of Seoul on November 3.
