Netflix He revealed a new summer teaser for the highly anticipated second act of his original series, When Life Dà Taderines, with IU and Park Bo Gum.
The teaser, published on Monday, showed a look at the main characters, AE-Sun (IU) and Gwan-Sik (Park Bo Gum), while they navigate on the challenges of marriage, parenting and adulthood. The teaser arrives days before the series returns for its second episode on March 14th.
The teaser focuses on the couple’s journey as young parents and touches their struggles with financial difficulties and the transition of his daughter Geum Myeong in adulthood. It also presents new ancestor of the series, including AE-Sun scenes in competition for the position of Village Chief and Gwan-Sik who work on the pier. In the second act, IU will play both AE-Sun and the daughter of her character, Geum Myeong. However, the second act will consist only of four episodes. Four more episodes will be released on March 21 and the last four episodes will be released on March 28th.
“When life gives you Mandarini” scores the first official collaboration of IU and Park. Before the project, IU starred in successful series as “Hotel del Luna” and “My Mister”. On the other hand, Park is acclaimed for his performances in “Reply 1888” and “Love in the Moonlight”.
Although they only worked together in this project, IU and Park have long had mutual shared respect and admiration.
