Netflix has officially confirmed the production of the new Korean series Beauty in the beastunveiling its main cast with rising stars Kim Minju, Moon Sang Min and Lomon. The announcement, made on January 8, sparked excitement among K-drama fans globally.
Beauty in the beast is a youth fantasy love story centered on Minsoo (played by Kim Minju), a girl who hides a mysterious secret: she transforms into a wolf. When she enters college, she meets high schooler Haejun (Moon Sang Min) and Doha (Lomon), a free-spirited werewolf, unleashing a whirlwind of emotions and conflict on campus.
Minsoo has spent his life repressing emotions and avoiding danger to keep his secret hidden. Now socialized and ready to live a normal life, her entry into college opens the door to a new chapter.
